Dorie's "Hello Spring" is a fabric collage with applique frogs frolicking, embellished with many silk flowers and beads.

As the path winds through an abstract of hand dyed fabric, the black cat sits and watches, in Meredith's "Beware Should a Black Cat Cross Your Path."

Pat W.'s "In My Own Backyard" has natural elements that embellish her art piece. She has used Birch bark, moss and twigs as the focal point. Lorraine's path is based on a class with Laura Wasilowski, the many hand dyed fabrics are fused with detailed embroidery stitches adding detail and texture. Tracy has shaded water and sand together to create the "Boat Basin Beach." Ryan's impressive FIRST QUILT "Learning Something New" is composed of flowing lines in an abstract landscape. Vi's "A Walk in the Woods" is a collaged landscape with embellished details. Sara's "Accessibility" has a wheelchair along the path going across the meadow to the city in the distance, with sparkly beads highlighting a night sky. Amy's "Fork in the Road" is created with her photographs of cutlery and road signs printed on fabric on her computer. Major life decisions that change the direction of your life are printed through the art piece. Peggy's "Emily Carr's Totem Walk" is based on the book of Emily Carr's adventures through the Pacific Northwest with her dog, in search of native American's ancient totem poles. It has many textural embellishments to create the lush woodland. Cheryl's needle felted extravaganza "Into the Deep" has many colorful images, many of them 3-D. An Atlantean temple, scuba diver, tropical fish and corals, all create a detailed underwater scene. Sue C.'s "A Path Less Traveled" is a moody scene with hand dyed fabrics, stitched and embroidered trees and other embellished details. To finish off our display we had a decorated table with our flyers, business cards, and info about our workshops and other activities. Lorraine's 3-d vessels are created with different shapes and embellishments, Amy's bowls are made with fabric covered paper mache embellished with a ring of blue buttons. Cheryl has needle felted a menagerie of whimsical creatures, a mouse asleep in a moss basket, sheep, whale, frogs and an owl are a few of the fun creatures she made, to teach classes at the Knotty Lady Shop downtown Roseburg. We also displayed some of the ragged patchwork sweatshirts Amy, Sara and Peggy made in a Playday Workshop.
